<p>The Index for updating material assets in construction (IM) aims at enabling the updating of the value of property in the absence of an available replacement value in the calculation of the equipment charges. It allows to update the material values for used equipment quotations, park valuations, especially for expertise in disaster.</p>
<p>It should not be confused with the Various indices for construction - MATP - Equipment item for civil engineering indices - Base 2010), whose purpose is escalating contracts.</p> |

<p>L'indice IM "Indice de réactualisation des actifs matériels dans la construction" a pour objectif de permettre la réactualisation de la valeur de matériels, à défaut d'une valeur de remplacement disponible, dans le cadre du calcul des charges d'emploi du matériel. Il permet de réactualiser les valeurs de matériels pour des cotations de matériel d'occasion, des valorisations de parc, en particulier pour les expertises en cas de sinistre.</p>
<p>Il ne doit pas être confondu avec l'index divers de la construction "Matériel Travaux publics" (MATP), dont la finalité est l'indexation de contrats.</p> |

<p>Un arrêté du Ministère des Travaux Publics et des Transports en date du 12 décembre 1959 approuvait le << barème bleu >>, et en particulier une première formule d'indice IM pour le calcul des charges d'emploi des principaux matériels de génie civil. Cet indice rentrait alors dans les formules de revalorisation des marchés publics de génie civil. Des changements de formule et/ou de base ont eu lieu en 1969, 1973, 1977 et 1986, avec une référence initiale à 1.</p>
<p>Les documents ci-dessous permettent de jalonner l'historique de cet indice :</p>

<p>L'indice IM était très proche par son concept (indice de coût) et par ses sources (indices de la statistique publique) des index divers de la construction, dont la maîtrise d'ouvrage a été transférée à l'Insee en 2014. La FNTP, qui était auparavant associée au Ministère de l'écologie, du développement durable et de l'énergie pour le calcul et la validation des index TP et de certains index divers de la construction, a souhaité à cette occasion que l'Insee reprenne aussi le calcul de cet indice IM.</p> |

<p>An order of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport dated 12 December 1959 approved the "Blue Scale", especially a first IM index formula for the calculation of employment costs of major civil engineering equipments. At this time, this index entered in the formulas for enhancing public works markets. Changes in formula and / or base took place in 1969, 1973, 1977 and 1986, with an initial reference to 1.</p>

<p>The IM index was very close in concept (cost index) and its sources (public statistics indices) to the various construction indices, responsibility of which was transferred to INSEE in 2014. FNTP, formerly associated with the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy for the calculation and validation of TP indices and some various construction indices, wished at that time that INSEE also resumes the calculation of the IM index.</p> |
