http://id.insee.fr/operations/serie/s1243	http://purl.org/dc/terms/abstract	<p>L'enquête de fréquentation dans l'hôtellerie de plein air vise à étudier la fréquentation dans l'hôtellerie de plein air en France, tant en volume qu'en termes de structure de la clientèle, notamment géographique.</p><p>Elle permet également la connaissance exhaustive du parc (y compris les campings classés n'offrant aucun emplacement de passage) et de la fréquentation des seuls emplacements de passage, destinés à une clientèle touristique, par opposition aux emplacements loués à l'année destinés à une pratique plus résidentielle.</p>
http://id.insee.fr/operations/serie/s1243	http://purl.org/dc/terms/abstract	<p>The outdoor accommodation occupancy survey aims to analyse the occupancy of campsites in France, both in terms of volume and the structure of the clientele, including the geographical structure.</p><p>It also provides exhaustive knowledge of the stock (including classified campsites that do not offer any short-stay pitches) and of the occupancy of short-stay pitches only, intended for a tourist clientele, as opposed to pitches for yearly rental intended for more residential purposes.</p>

Les données sont rétropolées depuis 2010.<br />En 2017, l’enquête de fréquentation dans les campings a été étendue au mois d'avril sur l'ensemble du territoire de France métropolitaine. Afin d'autoriser des comparaisons dans le temps, les nuitées d'avril 2010 à 2016 de France métropolitaine et dans les régions ont été estimées. Le total annuel des années 2010 à 2016 a également été recalculé pour prendre en compte le mois d'avril.</p>
