Subcontracting is termed "capacity" when the contractor itself equipped to manufacture a product, calls upon a sub-contractor: either occasionally because of a momentary peak in its production or because of a technical incident ; or more or less customarily because it wants to maintain an intrinsic capacity for a given form of manufacture.
