http://id.insee.fr/operations/serie/s1244 http://purl.org/dc/terms/abstract <p>The Health and disability survey - institutions section (HSI) was carried out in 2009, the aim being to measure the prevalence of various disability situations, focusing in particular on new concepts developed by the World Health Organisation (WHO), to assess aid needs and measure the social disadvantages experienced by these people.</p><p>For the health part, the survey was also intended to provide indicators for the five-year public health law and integrate the European survey modules produced by Eurostat, in order to improve survey comparability at European level.</p><p>It provides information on the expectations of disabled or dependent people with regard to accommodation and professional integration.</p><p>The Health and disability (HSI) survey was based on work done on the institution section of the 1998 Disability, incapacity, dependence (HID) survey.</p>
http://id.insee.fr/operations/serie/s1244 http://purl.org/dc/terms/abstract <p>L'enquête Handicap santé (HSI) - Volet institutions en 2009 a pour objectif de mesurer la prévalence des diverses situations de handicap en s'appuyant notamment sur les nouveaux concepts développés par l'Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS), et d'évaluer les besoins d'aide et de mesurer les désavantages sociaux subis par ces personnes.</p><p>L'enquête vise également, pour la partie santé, à fournir des indicateurs pour la loi quinquennale de santé et intègre les modules européens de questionnement élaborés par Eurostat, afin de renforcer la comparabilité des enquêtes à l'échelle européenne.</p><p>Elle permet d'obtenir des informations concernant les attentes des personnes handicapées ou dépendantes en matière d'hébergement et d'insertion professionnelle.</p><p>L'enquête Handicap santé (HSI) reprend largement le travail effectué lors du volet institution de l'enquête Handicaps, incapacités, dépendance (HID) de 1998 complété par une partie santé.</p>
