http://id.insee.fr/concepts/definition/c1746/definition/v1/en http://rdf-vocabulary.ddialliance.org/xkos#plainText The International Standard Classification for Education (ISCED) is a tool designed to generate statistics on education and training which are comparable across all countries. It was first devised by Unesco in the 1970s, and later revised in 1997 and in 2011. In France, ISCED 2011 levels 0 and 1 correspond to nursery and primary education, and levels 2 and 3 correspond to the first and second cycles of secondary education. ISCED 2011 level 4 corresponds to post-secondary non-tertiary education (Basic legal qualification : capacité en droit, diploma giving access to university studies : DAEU or diplôme d'accès aux études universitaires, etc.). Level 5 corresponds to short-cycle tertiary education (brevet de technicien supérieur-BTS, diplôme universitaire de technologie-DUT, etc.), level 6 to bachelor's degrees (license, etc.), level 7 to master's degrees and level 8 to doctoral degrees (not including medicine). The revision of the ISCED classification on fields of education was adopted in 2013.
